Chaste tree, a shrub native to Mediterranean region, has been employed by Europeans since ancient times. It is one of the most important herbs for feeding and nourishing the reproductive organs of both men and women and is especially helpful in restoring vitality and general tone to the female system. Chaste tree is the herb of choice for many women to relieve the symptoms of menopause and PMS and to regulate any kind of menstrual dysfunction. Chaste tree berries(Vitex berries) look and taste a bit like black pepper. They can also be put in a pepper grinder and used like pepper.
